About ordering Prints

All of the images on this web site are available for purchase - use the online ordering link to access the print ordering section. Note that the gallery names correspond to the divisions within the print ordering section.

1. You may purchase a print with or without a mat. I do not provide framing services at this time. If you purchase a matted print, be assured that I have used only acid-free backing board and mat board to prepare the assembly. Please note that the un-matted print sizes listed in the print order section are the paper size, not the image size. Thus, the actual size of the image will be smaller than the size of the paper. Should you require the actual dimensions of the image, feel free to contact me. For matted prints, I list both the paper size and the mat size. As image dimensions vary from photo to photo, I may adjust the size of the mat to better fit the print - if this is the case I will notify you. Each print is signed and numbered.

2. I will send you a confirmation email upon receipt of your order, and a second email upon shipment. Prints will be securely packaged for maximum protection during shipment. Please allow approximately a week between date of order and shipment date - should there be a longer delay, I will notify you.

3. Prints are made to the highest professional standards utilizing an Epson 3800 printer and fine quality papers manufactured by Hahnemuhle, Epson and Red River. I will choose a paper that I feel best portrays that image. Wilhelm Research, a renowned fade-testing laboratory, has found that prints made with the Epson K3 inks that my printer uses have a fade-resistance of at least 60 years when framed under ordinary glass, and almost double that when framed under UV filtering glass. If you purchased an un-matted print, I recommend you use a conservation-quality mat and backing board when having it framed. Additionally, the print should be protected from direct sunlight at all times.
